Geza

Geza was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio in the tumultuous 60’s. As a teenager, he attended traditional high school while taking painting courses at the world renowned Cleveland Museum of Art under Bo Sterk. Cleveland pop artist Christopher Pekoc (winner of the 2007 Cleveland Arts Prize) had a large influence on Geza and awoke his desire to be a painter of fine art. The two men often contemplated art, culture and vehicles for bringing the craft to the people. At the age of 19, Geza left life as he knew it and moved to Austria to discover his own roots while exploring the refined palette of the central European art connoisseur. Very soon he was active in various illustration projects for the publisher “Edition S” in Vienna. With the inspiration of a new land and a solid background in fine art, Geza has successfully carved out his own niche in the Austrian art scene. His flair and attention to detail have awarded him countless commissions through the years and he looks forward to making art for the people who are lucky enough to see it.
